Project Manager
Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in helping our charity turn ideas into products and services. Your duties will include planning, executing and supervising projects to meet Wipe The Tears' objectives and to ensure project delivery within budget and on time.
You will also be expected to:
- Meet with trustees and partner charities to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
- Develop detailed project plans to guide volunteers and potential partners and revise based on changing needs and requirements
- Identify and assign project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of volunteers
- Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery
- Compile and submit project status reports to donors, trustees and the rest of the team
- Work effectively with relevant sponsors and partners for efficient project implementation
- Develop excellent leadership, donor relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
Skills, qualifications and experience requirements:
To be a successful candidate, you will need various prerequisite skills and qualifications to perform your duties effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory control and process improvement
- Working knowledge of project management software tools such as Microsoft Excel, SmartSheet and other relevant applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent donor relationship and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make hard decisions required to achieve project objectives
- Knowledge of every aspect of the project lifecycle
- Experience in initiating projects, planning, delegating, managing and risk mitigating
- Experience in customer service
Working hours:
20 Hours a week. (May vary depending on the project)
Additional Information:
This position is voluntary. Wipe the Tears organises 5 international projects a year on average.
