Winter Appeal

The cold and harsh winter is here. Every year, many Syrian refugees lose their lives to extreme and unbearable weather conditions. We see it as our duty to help Syrian refugees keep warm this winter.

"Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement..."

This year we are aiming to provide warmth to displaced families who don't have the luxury of a place to call home. There are millions of Syrian refugees displaced within Syria, where the government will do nothing to provide the necessities for survival. Many of these families live in makeshift camps with no heating, warm clothing, and food. Therefore, Wipe The Tears will be distributing winter packs in refugee camps in Northern Syria. We will provide:

Blankets £8
We make sure the blankets we provide are of good quality so that families can use them for years on end. We have distributed hundreds of blankets every year to keep families warm. This year will be no exception.

Winter essentials £13
We are providing winter essential packs for children including a warm jacket, a pair of water-tight boots, a pair of gloves, a woolly hat and a scarf. Children have to walk to their local school every day. We believe a good education is paramount for their development. Together, we can make their journey to a brighter future more bearable.

Coal £15 (100KG)
100KG of coal is enough to keep a household warm for 15 days. Families are freezing to death every winter due to a lack of appropriate heating. This doesn't have to be the case, because you can keep a vulnerable family warm this winter.
